KN95 Mask Size Guide

A KN95 mask only delivers its rated ≥99% filtration efficiency when it forms a complete seal around your face. Gaps at the nose, cheeks, or chin allow unfiltered air in — which is why choosing the right size is the most important step before you buy.

How to Measure Your Face

Use a soft measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler. Take this key measurement:

  • Face length: Measure from the bridge of your nose (just below the eyes) to the bottom of your chin.

Size Best For Approximate Face Length
XL Larger adult faces, tall face shape 5.5" (14 cm) and above
Large Standard adult fit, most adult men 5.0" – 5.5" (12.7 – 14 cm)
Medium Smaller adults, larger teens 4.5" – 5.0" (11.4 – 12.7 cm)
Small Petite adults, teens 4.0" – 4.5" (10.2 – 11.4 cm)
XS Very small adult faces, older children 3.5" – 4.0" (8.9 – 10.2 cm)
Kids Children ages 5–12 (approx.) Under 3.5" (under 8.9 cm)

Quick Fit Check

Once your mask arrives, do this simple test:

  1. Put on the mask and mold the nose wire firmly to the bridge of your nose.
  2. Cup both hands over the mask and exhale sharply. Air should come through the mask material — not escape around the edges.
  3. Inhale sharply. The mask should pull slightly inward. If it gaps at the sides, try a smaller size.
